Audition Notice: "Billy Elliot" - A Spectacular Collaboration


Calling all Theatre Enthusiasts, Community members, Dancers, Singers, and performers of ALL kinds…and ages. 

HUB Productions is delighted to announce auditions for our upcoming production of "Billy Elliot" in collaboration with our local Rotary Club! We invite individuals of all ages and experience levels to audition for this engaging, exciting and heartwarming show.

We are thrilled to partner with our local Rotary Club for their annual musical production, and this year's show promises to be an unforgettable experience. "Billy Elliot" is a timeless story that celebrates the transformative power of dance, the pursuit of dreams, and the importance of community.

Audition Details:
Calling performers of ALL ages 8-108

TWO DATES:
Date: Thursday October 12th and Friday October 13th 
Time: 5:30-7:30pm
Location: Rene M. Caisse Theatre

AND 

Date: Saturday October 14th 
Time: 12:00-3:00pm
Location: Rene M. Caisse Theatre

Prepare for Your Audition:
Please prepare a short song that showcases your voice. We ask that you bring your own accompaniment that can be plugged in to our speaker on-site. Please have your music ready as audition time will be limited. 

You may also be asked to read a short excerpt from the script.

Commitment:
Rehearsals :
Most rehearsals will be on Sundays for major numbers and scenes. Leads and supporting role may be asked to come in on Wednesdays as well - and more specific scene work for primary actor roles will happen  on the occasional Monday. 

in general the times are as follows : 

Sundays 12-3:00pm 

with the chance for : 
Monday and Wednesday 6:30-9:00 

*we will do our best to let you know of which rehearsals you are needed at ahead of time and will be working very hard to work efficiently and only call necessary performers.  We also will be making sure rehearsals times are as appropriate as possible for our younger performers. 

Show Dates:
February 22nd-25th
February 29th -March 3rd

As well as production week dates :
February 18th,19th, 20th​
