HUB now offers a comprehensive Councillor in Training Program. An extremely valuable course in camp safety, expectations, leadership, first aid and of course the arts. This course is now mandatory for all students in grades 9-12 who wish to volunteer with HUB or begin the CIT process in order to apply for future Councillor work with HUB. Beyond HUB programming, the training will give students great training basis for their resume as well as gain skills necessary for many jobs in the workplace.
Selected CIT applicants will be required to attend weekend training at the Rene M. Caisse Theatre Friday June 1st 5-8pm, Saturday June 2nd 10am-3pm and Sunday June 3rd 10am - 3pm. The cost for the course is $200 and includes leadership training, First Aid certification, camp and workplace safety and regulations, theatre safety and expectations, improv and theatre arts instruction basis and next steps.

Successful applicants will receive an email confirmation and a link to register for CIT/ Camp training. In order to officially be accepted into the CIT program you must pass the interview and practical exam during training.
