Mackenzie Hall - Camp Director |
Emma's journey with HUB began at the age of 11 when she was cast in the title role of HUB's first ever production. Since then Emma has gone on to work in numerous professional theatre and television productions. Appearing on such shows as Disney's Wingin' It and Debra, CTV's Murdoch Mysteries and Flashpoint, Hannibal, Handmaids Tale and The Boys. Emma has trained under such acting coaches as Louis Baumander and Georgina Reily and has her BFA specialized honours from York University's prestigious Acting Conservatory. Over the years HUB has become Emma's true home and passion. She looks forward to working closely with the company year after year to reach as many Youth as possible, giving them the experiences and education that theatre and performance can offer.
A current student in York University's Theatre Program, Mackenzie dedicates her spring/summer to HUB Productions and the wonderful direction of our campers! After 6 years as a HUB student herself studying vocals, acting and as a member of our HYC - Mackenzie has been a dedicated staff member for the last 4 years. While she is very passionate about performance, most recently being a performer in short films, she also is expanding her studies in production, being on the lighting and running crews for Theatre@York’s production of The Late Wedding and Everybody. She also hopes to study more about lighting, after being a part of Project 37 in York's Devised Theatre Festival. Our students look forward to learning from Mackenzie every summer as she brings her humour, kindness and dedication to each and every student.

Carol has been involved with HUB Productions and the Rene M Caisse Theatre since their inception - as a Producer, Costumer, Props Consultant, Set Designer and surrogate Mom to all involved in our theatre programs over the years. She has also been a Producer and Costumer with a number of Rotary productions and somehow seems to end up involved, in one way or another, in most stage productions in Muskoka! Her ever present smile, her patience as well as her extra large costume cupboard are one of the reasons that kids keep coming back to The Rene Caisse Theatre year after year.
